No kiss for mother
Piper Paw is a very grumpy kitten. He always seems to get into trouble. He does not like to wash and does not keep his room tidy. He also hates kisses which is a problem, as his mother loves to give them. One morning Piper is sound asleep when his mother wakes him up with a kiss. Piper is not very nice to his mother. Through out his day he gets into a fight with another kitten at school, who bites his ear off. Once his soft mother finally comes down hard on him, he starts to respect her more. This is a cute story with black and white pictures. Its kind of long so I would say its for older children.
Good times, Bad times, Mummy and me
In this story the young girl is constantly saying how much she hates her mother. She hates her mother because she never has anytime to spend with her since shes always working. She ends up spending all her time with her grandmother. Until the weekend comes and her mother takes her out for dinner, reads her storys, and gives her a bath. Than she finally loves her mother.
Five Minutes Peace
Mrs. Large is the busy mother of three elephant children. She just wants five minutes of peace so she goes to take a hot bath. Her children dont seem to want to leave her alone and all jump into the tub with her. She than goes into the kitchen asking for at least five minutes of peace and quiet. Her children will only allow her three minutes and forty-five seconds to enjoy for herself. Im sure alot of families can relate to this funny story.
Love you forever
This book starts out as a young women cradling her young baby and singing to him. She still goes to his room and sings throughout the many stages of his life until he is a grown man. Than when she is too old to sing, he begins to sing and cradle her. Also doing this to his newborn baby. This is a really sweet story that familys can enjoy together and show there kids that they will always love them no matter what they do.
My mother loves
A single mother lives in a small house with eight other children. They find a elephant and took him as there own and called him Tuba. They eventually had to get rid of him as he was so big. One day their mother met a garbage man and they eventually got married and continued to have lots of children. This is a good book for young children.
